It's just not beer

We do not drink Fosters in Australia. Actually, you can't buy it in Australia.
Now that I have that off my chest, I will try to educate the greater GSB and hopefully the rest of the world at large on one of my most cherished of topics: beer. Hey I am an Aussie, what else do you think matters.
The brownish substance that comes from American breweries should not be described as beer. It does an injustice to word. When Budweiser was initially launched in Australia amidst much fanfare, Australians devised the following analogy to describe the beverage: Like having sex in a boat.
If you don't get it, find me and I can explain. Hey, we are an inventive lot!
And don't think this criticism is reserved to American beer. Queensland's local beer (for Queensland think Texas - they are part of the country but no-one knows why or really wants them!) is called XXXX. What this means exactly is lots to the annuls of history (ok, I can't be bothered finding out!) but the rest of Australia links the poor taste of the beer to the X's covering a 4-letter obscenity beginning with S (like I said, real inventive!).
Is there a solution? Yes (we are a resourceful lot!). Either go to Binny's on 53rd Street or Sam's Wines and Spirits near North and Clybourne, and acquire yourself a 6-pack of Coopers Sparkling Ale. That's what beer is all about!
Rugby Update: We had a close and hard fought match against NIU on Saturday (this is always how you term a defeat!). We need players! If you have played before, or want to try training Mondays and Thursday on the Midway at University starting at 5pm. I promise you won't get hurt ... much!
