Everywhere I look these days, I see the same: first years stressed out breathing interviews, thinking interviews, dreaming interviews. This is fine in itself - we had kind of the same problem last year: find a (summer) job. Yet some things bother me: the 'side-effects', which I do not remember seeing last year.

1. Have three succinct, well developed, dart to the bull's-eye bullet point answers for each of these major questions: a. Why this industry? b. Why our firm? c. Why you? These three questions will make or break you, as simple as that. If you sound iffy about any of them, see ya! To prepare good answers, 'Why the industry' involves soul searching for those passions that draw you to whatever industry you are recruiting for.
